HOW TO REACH YOUR POTENTIAL AS A YOGA TEACHER
The biggest challenge as a teacher is to find balance in your classes – offering a practice that is both inclusive and accessible to all individuals as well as offering the challenges that lead to the expansion and evolution.
The role of a teacher is not to command, but to guide students along a path that allows them to make discoveries about themselves (in mind, body – or both). Through these discoveries they can begin to feel connected, not only to each other and the greater community, but to themselves. The desire for connection, both internal and external, is our greatest human need. As yoga teachers we have a very important role in facilitating this.
WHAT IS IT LIKE TO COMPLETE A YTT WITH Stefan Camilleri Yoga?
This training is limited to just 18 practitioners – You will meet and connect with every one of your colleagues and teachers, learn their names, their stories and experience the most transformative 3 weeks possible. The focus is on small numbers and quality graduates who infuse knowledge, confidence, and their own unique personality throughout their classes.
You will learn Alignment Based Vinyasa that utilises the latest science and information based on the traditions of classical yoga.
The modern approach allows you to take your practice to the next level whilst ensuring the safety of your students through a deep understanding of alignment and pose modifications.
You will explore postural ideas from both modern and classical Iyengar Yoga, giving the body an opportunity to realign and adjust into advanced alignment.
As a result, you will begin to feel and look different as you express your body’s full potential.
The training focuses on 3 main areas:
